Experienced Arizona attorneys and legal professionals who bring sharp judgment, real dedication, and a genuine commitment to getting your matters resolved, without the runaround.

Thomas Nichols is the owner and managing attorney of Stratman Law Firm, where he leads an Arizona practice focused on HOA law, real estate, fractional general counsel, and Bitcoin advisory services. With a professional background that spans finance, investment analysis, mortgage banking, real estate development, and corporate law, Thomas brings a rare and unusually broad perspective to every client matter, one that goes well beyond what most attorneys can offer.
Before acquiring Stratman Law Firm in 2022, Thomas served as in-house corporate counsel and later Associate General Counsel for Isagenix International, where he led the company's legal expansion into nearly 30 international markets. He subsequently served as General Counsel for Seacret Direct, where he oversaw all legal, compliance, and human resources functions domestically and internationally, managing a reporting structure of approximately 50 employees across multiple departments.
Thomas acquired Stratman Law Firm following the unexpected passing of its founder, Troy Stratman, preserving a thriving practice that serves hundreds of HOAs and property management companies across Arizona. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded its HOA and assessment collections practice while growing into residential real estate, construction defect, and fractional general counsel services.
Earlier in his career, Thomas held securities and financial licenses, including Series 7 and Series 66, and worked for organizations such as American Express, E-Trade, Bank of America, and Ameriquest Mortgage, building expertise in portfolio construction, risk mitigation, mortgage banking, and real estate development. This foundation gives him an instinctive, commercial lens when advising clients on legal matters with financial and business implications.
Thomas graduated Magna Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and earned his B.S. in Finance from St. Mary's College of California, where he attended on a baseball scholarship and was named team MVP and earned All-WCC honors twice. He has called Scottsdale, Arizona home since 2013, where he lives with his wife and two children.
