With over a decade of experience in legal operations and a career that began on the baseball diamond, Evan approaches every client interaction and internal process with the same competitiveness, precision, and team-first mentality that defined his years as a professional athlete.

After a standout collegiate career at St. Mary's College of California, where he arrived on a football scholarship before successfully walking on to the baseball team, Evan graduated in 2000 with a B.A. in Interpersonal Communications. His ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, and perform under pressure has remained a defining characteristic throughout every chapter of his professional life.

Following graduation, Evan signed with the Tampa Bay Rays organization and was later traded to the St. Louis Cardinals. During his professional baseball career, he earned multiple All-Star selections and national recognition, including being named Minor League Rolaids Relief Pitcher of the Year. He was placed on the 40-man Major League roster with both organizations before his career was cut short by Tommy John surgery in 2006.

After retiring from professional baseball, Evan transitioned into the legal industry, beginning with Morgan & Morgan in Orlando, Florida, where he developed experience across a wide range of law firm and business operations roles. In 2011, he relocated to San Diego and completed the UCSD Paralegal Program in 2012, formalizing his legal expertise and laying the foundation for a decade-long career in legal operations.

Evan subsequently joined Phillips Law Group in Phoenix as a paralegal and operations manager, spending ten years building deep expertise in legal process management, client service, and firm operations. He later joined Stratman Law Firm, reconnecting with owner and managing attorney Thomas Nichols, a longtime friend and former college teammate, where he now leads firm operations and ensures every client experience reflects the responsiveness, clarity, and personal attention that defines the Stratman standard.
